Ixchel, Chelsea
Restaurant in CHelsea
When IXCHEL, a bold new restaurant concept in the heart of London, approached us to create their standout interior, they had a clear vision: to blend the raw industrial elegance of concrete with the warm vibrancy of Mexican influences.
We were commissioned to design a range of bespoke concrete elements, including the bar counter and wall features, each carefully conceived to fit the space’s aesthetic. Working closely with the client, we explored various textures, inlays, and finishes to ensure that every piece was unique yet cohesive, complementing the overall design scheme.
The bar counter became the focal point, with its sleek concrete top contrasting against vibrant inlaid details inspired by Mexican art. The seating was designed for comfort while maintaining the industrial-chic feel, with polished concrete benches and stools incorporating subtle design flourishes.
Our team managed the full process—from design to fabrication and installation—ensuring that every element was perfectly executed to enhance the bar’s identity. The result is a stunning space that merges concrete’s modernity with cultural richness, offering a unique ambiance that draws people in from across the city.
